Ebony’s ‘Maame Hwe’ must win VGMAs song of the Year – Akata Stone

UK-based Ghanaian artiste,Akata Stone has indicated candidly that Ebony’s ‘Maame Hwe’ hit song must win the song of the Year at this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

The controversial Ebony Reigns, whose real name is Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng, is making a lot of impact on the music scene with ‘Maame Hwe”

Under the production of carter Stone Music,the Uk-based dancehall Artiste Akata Stone who released the remixed version of Shatta Wale’s popular song,’Taking Over’ is currently out with the remix version of ‘Maame Hwe’

Speaking in an exclusive interview with regards to why he has remixed ‘Maame Hwe’,Akata Stone delineated that:

“Well,i was very surprised controversial Ebony could produce such a delicious song…Intact ,the song is very educative, and as a dancehall artiste ,I always want to educate people with my songs; so immediately I heard the song I decided to remix it which I cautioned women against falling in love with Sakawa Boys”,Akata Stone quipped to Razzonline.com

The ‘Get Your Freaky On’ hitmaker added that,”I will be extremely surprised if Maame Hwe’ doesn’t win the ‘Song Of the Year at this Year’s VGMAs…this is the time CharterHouse must come out clean by awarding deserving artistes not friendship artistes”,

The Vodafone Ghana Music Awards is the biggest event on the Ghanaian Entertainment Calendar which aims at recognizing and celebrating the hard work and dedication of the various players in Ghana’s music industry through the nations most coveted awards scheme.

Akata Stone whose real name is Lloyd Twum-Ampofo started his music career in 2004 and has 15 songs to his credit.

He is set to release the visuals of ‘Maame Hwe Remix’ in February,2018
